Who says Rain won't be singing at the closing of the 2008 Beijing Olympics? Well, there still might be a huge possibility.
Bi arrived at Beijing airport on 20 August. Could he be there just to visit Samsung? Could he be there to attend the closing? We will just have to wait and see.

Crown J and Seo In Young films a Commercial Together

MBC “We Got Married” make-believe couple Crown J and Seo In Young have recently signed on together for a CF and still acting as a married couple.
Seo In Young and Crown J signed a six months contract with Woojin Household Appliances and they have already filmed one CF on the 19th and will film another for their LooLoo washroom products range on the 22nd.
According to Star Empire, “Woojin learnt about Crown J and Seo In Young from We Got Married and felt that their new generation couple image fits in well with their products. So they decided to sign them on to endorse their products.”
Two CFs would be released shortly to the public, marriage and dowry versions.

Ryu, Epik High to Perform in Japan

Singer-actor Ryu Si-won and hip-hop group Epik High will visit the Japanese market through separate performances.
Ryu, 36, will hold a solo concert at the Tokyo Dome on Christmas Eve.
``The Tokyo Dome is a difficult place for even Japanese artists to perform. Considering the size, budget and the season, Ryu's concert holds great meaning,'' Ryu's agency R's Company announced Tuesday.
Ryu is the second Korean singer to perform solo at the Tokyo Dome, following Rain last year.
The singer in June began an 18-city tour of Japan. Performing in 30 concerts over the past two months, he will finish his long journey at Tokyo's Budokan with a three-day concert ending Friday. The first hallyu star to perform for three consecutive days in the city, Ryu will also release his eighth album in Japan in October and hold a birthday party and fan meeting in Seoul Oct. 5.
Korean hip-hop group Epik High will also perform at the Yokohama BLITZ!, Saturday and Sunday.

Eric Moon to Release New Single Album

With only one month left before he begins his military duties in early September, singer and actor Eric Moon is busy with fan meetings and recording songs for his brand new album. Eric Moon, who wrapped up shooting the final episode for the "fusion" history drama series 'Mighty Chil-woo' met with some 150 Japanese fans at a hotel south of the Han River on August 19. The fan meeting was also attended by seven other actors who co-starred in the drama series.
Eric Moon's management agency said the singer and actor plans to take a short trip with his co-workers sometime next week for a much-deserved rest and relaxation following three intense months of drama shoots. As soon as he returns from his trip, Eric Moon will immediately begin recording his latest single album.

Lee Eon dies in accident

Model-turned-actor Lee Eon (also spelled Lee Un, most famously of Coffee Prince) has died in a motorcycle accident.
The 27-year-old, born Park Sang-min, was on his way home following the wrap party for KBS’s Strongest Chil Woo early on the morning of August 21. He was riding a motorcycle and ran into the guardrail of the overpass, and is said to have died almost immediately.
The news has shocked everyone; online, netizens are abuzz in disbelief. Just the night before, he had been onscreen in Chil Woo’s finale episode, and the sudden news is, to say the least, startling.
Lee Eon got his start modeling, but shot to mainstream levels of fame when he took on the role of simple-hearted but lovable Min Yub in last year’s Coffee Prince. He followed that with a stint as a cable-TV MC, then returned to dramas with Who Are You? and, most recently, Strongest Chil Woo.

SHINee plagiarized?

SM seems to running out of money or ideas because he decided to plagiarize for SHINee's first album.
SHINee will release their title song "You're Like My Oxygen" on Aug. 22, ahead of the official release for their first full album. But this title song was jacked from Denmark's star singer, Martin Hoberg Hedegaard, a 15 year old boy who won 1st place in Denmark's X-Factor show (similar to American Idol). SHINee's plagiarized song is their own take on Hedegaard's hit song "Show the World", which boasts a disco/punk beat and black rhythms.
SHINee already performed their title song "You're Like My Oxygen" at the SM TOWN '08 concert. But check out Denmark's Martin Hedegaard's orginal "Show the World" that displays his unique vocals.

U-Kiss Kim KiBum is the younger brother of SS501's Kim Hyung Jun

It looks like Talent and looks sure runs in the family. SS501's Kim Hyung Jun has a younger brother in the new, upcoming boyband U-Kiss, named Kim Ki Bum (not to be confused with the ones in Super Junior or Shinee).
Note: Key's real name is Kim Ki Bum too.
Kim Ki Bum (Marumir/마루미르) was in the new group Xing until he then left in 2007; now he is in a new boyband named U-Kiss. 
U-Kiss recently had a showcase in Japan and performed their title song "Not Young" at the Power of ATAMIX in front of a crowd of 30,000 people. They also recently finished filming their MV where 100 fans showed up to cheer them on.
The Song is going to be a an upbeat R&B Song.
SS501's Kim Hyung Jun was nice enough to show up for U-Kiss' fan meeting to support his younger brother. Ki Bum could not hold back his tears as he embraced his brother.

Eason Chan has recently been busy in Taiwan promoting his newest album, Don't Want To Let Go, when unexpectedly, yesterday, reports surfaced that he was cheating on his wife.
Just two days ago, despite the rain, Eason performed for his fans during an autograph session and ended up wet from head to toe. The 'thanks' he got in return was a magazine publishing photos and a story accusing him of infidelity. The story alleged he had dinner with an 'unknown female' and afterwards went back to his room. Universal Music clarified that the 'unknown female' was a Universal Music Taiwan employee and stated that the reports are made up.
